Pythia POV:
The moment Ambrosia and I popped into the mall excitement filled me, I made sure we came in where no one would see us, the last thing I wanted to do was cause a big fuss. "Okay we need to get you a bathing suit, sleeping clothes whatever you need." Ambrosia said, pulling me to the closest shop. "Why would I need a bathing suit? Do you know where he is taking me?" I asked. Tye hasn't told me anything but to listen to Ambrosia and get whatever I needed. "I do but that is for him to tell you not me." Ambrosia replied. "Well how am I supposed to know what to get if I don't know anything." I taunted. I saw a smile tug the end of her lips. "That is what you have me for. Now I think blue suits you really well and you are going to have to wear a two piece." Ambrosia said, I started tuning her out while she grabbed a few bathing suits for me. My eyes landed on a cute little sundres
Pythia POV: As we loaded the truck I couldn't help but start to feel excited. I wonder where he is taking me? He said it was a surprise but it has to be somewhere like a beach or pool or something right? I mean why else would Ambrosia grab bathing suits for me. I needed to talk to Ambrosia when we got back, she was more than tense at the mall and I needed to know what that was all about. Humans getting too close to us can be dangerous if we aren't careful. We didn't make it that far down the road before I turned to him. "So where are we going?" I asked. A smile tugged at his lips. "Now if I told you it wouldn't be a secret." Tye replied. "Oh come on, at least give me a hint. How far away is it?" I asked. "We haven't even made it that far and you are already asking." Tye laughed. I narrowed my eyes on him. Why can't he at least give me a hint. "Tell me what happened at the mall." Tye said. "There isn't much to tell, we were trying to leave and they had questions, apparently a few o
Pythia POV: When my eyes opened I could smell the beach, the saltiness from it filled my nostrils and a smile came across my face. I looked at the time to see we had only been on the road a few hours. "We are almost there." Tye whispered. I sat up and took a look around at the view. It was closed off from the woods but I could see the water behind the trees, the sand was nearly white, it was like this part was tucked away from human eyes. We turned down a dirt road that went in between the large trees. As soon as it cleared a huge two story house came into view, it was a beautiful wooden cabin, the closer we got the more I could see it. It had large bay windows at the front but the sides were wrapped in wood. It had a larger porch that had a table and lounge chairs around it, this was stunning. We pulled up to the house and I noticed the gravel that surrounded the place. "This is so beautiful." I whispered. "And yet not as beautiful as you." Tye said, kissing the back of my hand.
Pythia POV: Last night was the best night of my life. I knew Tye could be gentle and sweet but this was by far the best thing ever. Waking up this morning I feel completely relaxed. The smell of bacon hit my nose and instantly my stomach started gurgling. I swear I wasn't this big yesterday, as soon as we get back we are going to see Julie to make sure that this little bundle of joy is in fact a girl so we can start getting things. I climbed out of bed and made my way to the bathroom to change my clothes. I decided to wear a bathing suit under the sundress. I wanted to be comfortable and I wanted to sit on the beach while we went through the rest of this book. I was getting excited for Ambrosia to be here. I walked into the kitchen to see Tye cooking and also singing along to the music that he had playing on his phone. I leaned against the door frame and watched him, he was so graceful with every move he made. He had on a pair of black basketball shorts with no shirt. I could neve
Pythia POV:I stood frozen as the man walked towards us with caution. Could that really be my dad? How did he even find me here? Jackson and Tye did not budge at all and I inched a little closer to Ambrosia and grabbed her hand. I started taking in his details, we had the same color eyes, he is a little taller than me. His skin complexion was a little darker than mine. His hair was brown, high cheek bones and my nose. "I won't hurt you." He called out. I could feel the alpha aura Jackson and Tye had laced out and it was mixed with the shield I had put up. I could feel the electricity from it, it was tense and served as a warning. "I don't have much time Pythia, I really need to talk to you." He called out. I could hear the urgency in his voice. I peaked around the boys and my eyes locked on him, I pulled the shield back and wrapped my arm around Tye. "It's okay." I whispered.&nbs
Tye POV:I watched the girls walk towards the water giggling and it brought a smile to my face. "I talked with Ambrosia about what happened at the mall so I sent our best trackers to watch the woods." Jackson said with tension in his voice. "What did they find?" I asked, I'm more than curious now. "The humans have been making a secret trail that leads closer to our territories." Jackson replied. That isn't good but it isn't bad. "We have never had an issue with humans so why are we worried about this?" I asked. "Because I have been doing my own research about Ambrosias brother, his past is not a good one even though he says he has changed." Jackson stated. I knew there was something off with him. If Pythia gets a bad vibe it is for good reason. "What is his past then?" I asked. Jackson took a deep breath and
Pythia POV:As much as I wished we could have stayed longer I knew we had to come back, especially for this. This was an important day, everyone was going to get to know each other a lot better. I am excited yet nervous about it. I made sure the Stony and Lillith as well as others would be there to help set up or whatever was needed. I wanted today to go easily so whatever we could do to help with that then that is what we will do. As we pulled back up to the house I could see tables lined up in order, one row had food and snacks while circular tables were scattered out. Each table had six chairs around them with white table sheets with lillies in vases at the center. It wasn't as decorated as I had imagined because let's face it, Tyes mom as well as the rest love to decorate over the top. Tye grabbed the bags and I followed him upstairs, I wanted to shower and clean up so that I looked at least decent. As soon as the door open
Pythia POV:Ambrosia looked at me for a moment, "I think it will be a boy." She said, "Well we will know tomorrow. I am very excited." I replied. As we walked down the stairs and I could start seeing everything I looked around stunned. "We are sorry." and "You're amazing." Balloons were everywhere. I looked around at all the girls who had big smiles on their faces. "We felt really bad about upsetting you." Chloe stated. "It was never our intention to do so." Jasmine said. "Yeah, we love you and we know that you are strong. It was just a lot to take in." Charlotte said, tilting her head down. Alley walked towards me, more like waddled, "Pythia, I can't tell you how sorry we are for making you feel that way. We just worry for you and we don't want you to get hurt." Alley spoke softly. Honestly seeing all of this really touched me. "It's okay, it was an emotional day honestly." I replied. "You know we are going to have your back no matter what. We
Tye POV:I do not like Ambrosias brother at all, the way he made me feel was not something anything good could come out of. I felt how tense Pythia was and that is very unusual for her, she has never wanted to be away from someone so badly before. We let the girls meet up with some other people and I knew Brandon would be watching them which I was thankful for. I scanned my eyes until they landed on Xander. I did not want him out of my sight."If you stare any harder you will burn a hole through him." Stephen said as he walked up. "I don't like him." I muttered. "I can tell, Alley and I will go meet him here shortly, but other than that how is everything going?" Stephen asked. "It seems to be going well. Are you aware of humans?" I asked. "Yes, I am aware. I have been making progress with the human leaders about normalizing the presence of wolves, witches and vampires. Well the good ones anyways." Stephen replied. "Good, we need
