Rhiannon’s point of view

The next day, I was up early because we would start at first light. Driving to the port and then taking the cruise across to the Island would be a long day.

The island is a sacred place where most of our ancestors met with the spirits of the moon goddess.

Dad must be preparing Rodrigo for him to take over the pack because we usually go there to have our stars read and hopefully get a glimpse into the future.

It would take us two days to make it to the island and another two to come back here. I was not meant to go until after I met my mate.

I quickly packed my bag with a few things I needed. After getting into sweatpants and a t-shirt, I made my way to the kitchen to grab the things I asked to be prepared for me.

“You are up early,” Mum said, coming into the kitchen with another bag
