After taking a shower, I was about to leave when I saw the note on the fridge. I sighed heavily, walking towards it to read what she left for me here.

I took the note and squeezed it in my hand before switching off the coffeemaker. I grabbed the plate of food, throwing away everything in the bin before making my way out of the house and heading to the pack house.

I walked into the room; I quickly masked my scent before approaching the dining room.

“Good morning,” I said to everyone before settling on the chair adjacent to Rhiannon.

She glanced at me, then shifted back her attention back to Russell. “You should take some time and try it. One of the best places if you ask me” she said to him, her lips curving up in a smile.

My wolf let out a low growl before I cleared my throat. “Sorry, I will have some water,” I said, taking a glass of water and gulping it down.

Why did he feel possessive of her? She was not us to claim, but I felt she belonged to me alone.
