Chapter Fourteen

The fire crackled delicately, casting glinting shadows over the dividers of Clara's room. She sat alone, her intellect a hurricane of contemplations. The voice that had spoken to her was frequenting, promising more challenges to come. In spite of the triumphs they'd accomplished, Clara couldn't shake the feeling that they were standing at the edge of something indeed more critical.

She took a deep breath, rose from her seat and walked outside. The night air was cool against her skin, the forest lively with the sounds of nighttime animals. As she strolled through the Bloodstone Pack's territory, her mind floated to the future. They had broken the curse, but what lay ahead was still uncertain.

The next morning, the pack gathered in the great hall. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation, a sense of both relief and urgency. Marcus stood at the front, his presence commanding as he addressed the pack.
