The victorious glow that had settled over the group began to fade as the sky blackened unnaturally, the air crackling with tension. Marcus stood frozen, his sharp gaze fixed on the horizon. Clara felt the energy in the air shift, colder and more menacing than anything she had experienced before.

“What is that?” Clara asked, her voice barely audible as the ground trembled beneath them.

Ethan, his eyes scanning the sky, frowned deeply. “We destroyed the abyss… but this… this is something else. This feels older, darker.”

From the distant mountains, the figure that had begun to rise now stood fully revealed. Its massive form blotted out the sun, casting a shadow across the entire valley. The creature was nothing like the abyss soldiers they had faced. It was ancient, its presence steeped in a malevolent power that had been dormant for centuries.
