Because of too much regret that itched my heart, I gritted my teeth to the point that the surface of my lips got a tiny cut. Of all the humans with me in the room last night, the one I bestowed the cursed kiss had to be Christian, my best friend.

He was the only human out of the millions living all over Spain with whom I could share everything about myself except for the fact that there lived a beast inside me.

The worst thing that my wolf had been avoiding for the past three years happened again. Right in front of my eyes was a lifeless poor human. I should have known better.

My wolf would rather consider it acceptable if the one I murdered with my cursed kiss was one of the female humans. But in the end, that bottle of wine got me wasted to the point that I was not even aware of what time they headed out last night.

The last thing I remember was that Christian and I crawled onto the bed and then his cold arms around me found solace in my warm skin. Thereafter, everything turned dark.

My spinning head barely remembered how on earth Christian and I ended up having sex instead of one of those strippers no matter how hard I pushed the limit. About who made the first move. The first who removed our clothes.

About who was on top or bottom. But the one thing that confused and intrigued me the most was who initiated the kiss first.

Christian and I were into women, so the chance that one of us took the first move was quite insufficient. If either of us, perhaps it was because we were both wasted last night.

"Justine... Switch off the lights, please." To my surprise, those were the adenoidal words that came out of Christian's mouth.

He then lowered his face toward the bed to avoid getting a direct hit from the eye-blinding lights of the bulb above us. His soft moans made me feel at ease as it appeared to me that he was still alive after we kissed.

Perhaps I didn't notice that the cursed kiss had already lifted considering it had been three years since I left the pack and had no communication from anyone. Or perhaps the Moon Goddess or whoever put the curse on me already forgot this.

Three days later, the mystery of Christian's exclusion from my lethal kiss still made me feel intrigued. While occupied at the restaurant, my helpless brain was tempted to give it another try. Just one. Not two. But one.

This time, not to Christian, but to a new woman.

I'm a straight guy with a straight cock who longed for a woman's hole. Kissing and having sex with Christian was a huge mistake to the point that I promised myself the incident would never happen again.

Even lied to him about the reason he found himself naked as soon as he woke up and told him that one of the female humans made love with him last night.

"Dude, can I ask you something?" I asked Christian despite the hectic schedule at the restaurant.

"If it's about our school project, please forgive me, I can't help you with that, Justine. We have the same schedule day and night. Most of the people around us even mentioned that our faces already looked the same because we were like leeches to each other."

"No, I'm not talking about the school project, dude..." I cut off halfway to finish my sentence when Christian bolted to the kitchen and grabbed some of the orders.

"If it's not about our school project, what is it then?" He replied as soon as he finished serving the customer's orders.

My mouth shut off when our eyes were fixed on each other. My brain froze for a few seconds while having second thoughts if I should ask him or not about where he hired those strippers.

"Just ask it already, dude," he insisted. "We don't have the luxury to talk longer in the middle of work."

In the middle of work, I kept chasing him as he bolted from one table to another. "Umm... Where and how much did you pay for my birthday?"

"You mean those ladies?" Christian even pointed that out while ignoring those customers around us. Then to my surprise, he burst into laughter. "Well, what else could I say, they were both experts when it comes to..." he shrugged off and leaned his face closer to my ear before he breathed, "SEX."

The warm air that came out of his mouth gave me chills. It even crawled down my spine as though I had been struck by a bolt of lightning. But he quickly shut his mouth after seeing my deadly expression.

"Forget it." I avoided making eye-to-eye contact with Christian before I removed his arms from me and eased to the empty seat in the corner.

Christian also ignored the awkward sensation right away. He slid to the empty tables cleaned them up and acted as though nothing happened.

An hour later, a bunch of Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) employees, mostly female humans, bolted into the restaurant.

Ten of them were in their twenties, I believed. But most of them were in their forties or sixties. Their gazes on me were sharp. Sharp enough I got these weird feelings that they were about to swallow me in whole.

"Hey... Did you see that guy at the counter?" muttered one of the middle-aged women to the young woman seated next to her.

But I simply ignored them, letting them know that I wasn't eavesdropping on their conversation, and waited for them to call me to get their order.

Christian, on the other hand, was still occupied with cleaning up the tables for the BPO employees. There were around thirty of them who were destined to dine in the restaurant.

"He was definitely my kind of knight in shining armor. Do you think he already had a girlfriend?" she added.

"How would I know that, you old naughty witch? Why not ask him out instead?" The young woman next to her whispered back. "But you're fucking right about him. That man was definitely every woman's lusts and fantasies."

I didn't want to ruin the fun or let go of the opportunity, so I slid to their table with a pen and a notepad in my hands. As soon as I got closer to their table, the ladies were making an effort to hide their apparent excitement.

Sadly for them, my wolf already sensed their overflowing enthusiasm. They're floating all over the restaurant. "Can I have your orders now, ladies and gentlemen?" as required by the restaurant, I put an ear-to-ear smile on my face.

"Mr. Cutiepie, can I have a piece of paper, please?" endearingly begged the middle-aged woman next to me. Her body shivered in excitement when I detached a piece of the notepad and laid it on the table.

She then grabbed a pen from his purse and jotted down something on the notepad. I expected she was going to list down all their orders as it was what the notepad was made for.

But to my surprise, she quickly stuck the piece of notepad into my left pocket as though she didn't want anyone from those humans around me to sneak into what was written on the paper.

Then she announced their orders, "We'll have twenty orders of the restaurant's signature dish, please..."

After serving all their orders, I slid to the corner, and waited for them to finish their meals, especially when my shift was about to end.

Out of curiosity, I pulled the piece of paper out of my pocket. When I had the chance to study what was written on it, I slowly dragged my gaze back to the middle-aged woman who also happened to have been staring at me the entire time.

She then blinked at me and pressed her lips together. The woman was inviting me for a drink after the meal. Below the message were her name, address, and digits.

And that was the cue. I no longer needed to force Christian to give me the details about where he hired those strippers on my birthday. The ship just landed at the port itself. So, I gave the middle-aged woman a half-smile.

Right after the shift, Christian was surprised when I bolted from the restaurant without telling him something. Because of too much excitement, I barely felt my feet touching the surface of the ground.

Ten minutes later, my foot landed in front of a condominium where the notepad led me. Then I dialed the woman's digits to inform her about my arrival.

She invited me without further questions. On the floor beside the king-size bed were a few bottles of vodka and some food snacks. I switched off the phone to make sure Christian would not disturb my moment.

She then poured the vodka into the two empty glasses. But I'm not there to mix my werewolf blood with the human's devilish alcoholic drink in order to boost my adrenaline. To her surprise, I grabbed her tiny body and threw her to the bed similar to a weightless doll.

She did not complain. Instead, she liked the aggressive and harsh side of me. After that, I removed my shirt and jeans, leaving me nothing but boxer shorts. My little Justine was already hard even before I stepped foot into the building.

I'm afraid having a few drinks with her might lose my overflowing adrenaline. So, I bumped into her body. As soon as our bodies got flocked against each other, she pinned me on the bed by force. Undeniably, I like the way she played her part.

Then, she started licking my neck down to my hairy and broad chest. Twirling her warm and wet tongue on top of my nipples from left to right.

The woman was pretty expert in licking when she immediately exploded my first blow. But, that was not the end of my world. My wolf had reserved overflowing strength and power.

And there goes my courage, the sole purpose of unfolding the curse that befallen me. I rubbed my lips against hers. At first, she was as harsh and aggressive as I was. However, as the seconds kept ticking, her aggressiveness slowed, little by little.

Until her tight wraps around my body suddenly loosened up. So is mine to her, staring at her face, eyes closed, and a smile on her face. But not breathing.

My entire body weakened by surprise. Even stumbled to the floor a few times after removing my helpless body away from her. Away from the bed. No single word came out of my mouth aside from the cold sigh of regrets and hallucinations. Oblivion.

In the corner, my eyes were dripping with tears. The tip of my chin was leaned against the tip of my knees while my arms were wrapping them, trembling.

If not because of her deafening phone ringtone, I decided to get out of her unit as soon as possible before someone could come over.

So, I picked up everything that belonged to me; wallet, phone, shirt, jeans, shoes, company ID, and backpack. As soon as I put my clothes on, I descended and hailed a cab back to my apartment.

Without even removing my shoes, I dropped my body on the mattress and forced my eyes, heart, and mind, to ignore the fact that I killed someone.

The next morning, I decided to miss school. Not even message Christian that I could not make it. Instead, I glued my body to the bed, keeping my eyes closed.

After what happened the other night, memories of my past relinked to my conscience. About how the two women of my life died right next to me.

Later that afternoon, I was surprised when Christian slammed the door of my apartment. I entrusted him to have a spare key to my room in case of emergency.

"Dude, Justine! What happened?" He bolted to the bed and removed the blanket from my face. "Everything in the restaurant was a mess because you're not answering our calls and texts. Are you sick or something, huh?"

A part of me wanted to confess to Christian about what happened to the woman I had sexed the other night. But that human side of me wanted to keep it hidden, thinking Christian might get scared or despise me for that.

Instead, I stared at his face for a few seconds. He was living proof that my cursed kiss made an error. That made me wonder how it happened that he didn't die.

Pure human blood runs through his veins similar to the middle-aged woman.

"Dude... Are you on drugs right now?" He continued after getting nothing from me but a minute of weird glimpse.

"No. I'm not on drugs, you idiot." I lifted half of my body and slapped my face to make sure I was still alive. "Of all the people who would know how law-abiding a citizen I am should be you, Chris."

Then I jumped out of the bed and slid to the lavatory to grab a glass of water. "I know. But, your weird glimpses were creeping me out, dude." He retorted. "My instincts were telling me that you had feelings for me just like what you did to me that night at your birthday party."

The balls of my eyes dilated when even a first-grader student could understand his confession. "Wait... You remembered what happened that night?" Could not help but ask.

Even slipped off the empty glass I was holding in disbelief. The glass shattered into pieces.
