"Yeah, right." He replied.

"Damn, right." I threw back.

"Fuck, right." He threw back almost immediately.

"That's right." I replied immediately.

"Obviously right." He answered back, folding his hands before giving me a 'come on, let's here yours' look.

"Absolutely right." I dropped out with an eye roll, a small smile breaking through my face.

"Oof, I give up, savage." He announced with a laugh.

"Of course you did, that's what you'll still do at the end." I answered with a laugh of my own.

"Where's Amara anyways?" He asked after our laughter died down.

Some minutes after twelve a.m and I'm still wide awake, staring straight at the ceiling, my mind drifting back and forth.A knock broke into my thoughts and I lazily stood up from my warm bed to answer the door.Who could it be anyways?Oh, it probably Amara.Maybe she decided to come home tonight after all.I thought as I pulled the door open without even asking who the person was.She scolded me firstly for not checking out to be sure it was actually her at first before opening the door but I rolled my eyes and pulled her into the sofa beside me after closing and locking the door firmly."How was it?" I pushed."Well..." She paused for a moment as a dramatic sigh left her lips before she continued."It was awesome!" She let out and we both let out a laugh."Really?"

Silas greeted the moment I stepped out of the door.I stopped walking for a moment to gather my breath. So, we really are neighbours."Hi Silas. Good morning" I replied. He was already dressed and ready for school."Anyways, I'll see you later." As expected like everytime, traveling back home was a kinda stressful journey, whereby you have to sit for long hours before reaching your destination. With my headphones plugged into my phone, my favorite playlist playing out the perfectly arranged songs loudly into my ears was pure bliss while I rested my head against the headrest and my eyes shut completely as if I was in a deep sleep.Thankfully, we finally almost reached our destination after battling with thick traffic, passengers who stalled the bus every second we reached a canteen or stall where eatables were sold, it was like as if some people just couldn't control their stomach from getting hungry everytime.Oh, and then there were two or three people who were always stopping to ease their bladder free, always urinating every one hour.Like, why do I have such a shitty luck today? I only wanted to go home in peace.

That's still fair, but bursting the door open and scaring the black Jesus out of me is so not cool."Leave the phone and give your mother a hug." Her familiar voice echoed around the room with the hint of a smile."But my phone is broken!" I replied her grumbling the words out."So?" She asked as she pulled me up, the phone falling off my thighs again towards the floor.Alright, it's official. My mother is a phone killer, I'm sure it's already dead after the second fall if it did survived the first crash.I scowled at her after giving my phone a sad glance before returning the dejected look at her again to emphasize on how much I was pained.Oh yes, I really am painedLike, a phone is part of the soul, loosing it feels like you are about to die.Right.I

"It's the truth. You don't go out, like at all." He answered slowly, putting emphasis on every word. The bastard.Sad, but he was saying the pure truth, I don't go out.Not like I don't go out at all, but I just don't really enjoy going out too much, I prefer being buried in a book instead of being in the midst of annoying people. And, let's not forget that people tend to annoy me a lot.I'll choose Goldie, my dog over a lot of my course mate.Sad, but that's me.Take me like that or still take me, I wouldn't care that much anyway."Hey! I go out, but not that much." I denied vehemently."That's what I said, you don't go out." He replied flatly."I go out, but not every time." I grumbled out.

And before I could even think about it, I started telling him about my baby brother, James.I didn't even know when the tears started to fall until Silas swiped his thumb against a tear slipping down my cheeks in folds.I pulled away from his reach till I sat at the very edge of his bed as I motionlessly continued to tell me about how growing up with him was.How exciting and eventful the few years I got to spend with him felt, how the years he lived were probably my most meaningful years in my whole life.I could feel the tears pouring down my cheeks as I sobbed quietly, not even a tearful sound escaped my lips as I went on and on about how James was everything.Till I killed him."When I noticed my change in behavior, there wasn't really anything I could do about it. "I've missed you so much, Sisi.""Oh, come on! I thought we agreed not to call each other silly nicknames anymore?" Silas explained but Jordan brushed him off with a shake of his head after pointing out to him that he was the one who started everything. They laughed before Timi, the third boy in the group of friends embraced Silas heatedly. It was pretty obvious about who Silas was really close with between the two guys. The only girl in the group of friends came forward and literally flew into Silas outstretched hands who immediately wrapped themselves around her waist as he lifted her from the ground for a little bit before finally releasing her.I watched, an amused expression on my face as they exchanged p

I informed him with an amused eye roll.A ping came from my phone which was dropped behind the Mac by a very hyper Ashley the moment the call connected with Silas's about an hour ago or so.I bended forward to retrieve the phone, the small exclamation of 'Fuck!' stopped me for a few seconds before I reached forward a little bit more till I reached the phone and returned back to my normal position. My mouth suddenly went dry when I caught Silas's heated gaze on my boobs, he lifted his gaze to my face, our eyes locking intently."Fuck, I didn't know you weren't wearing anything underneath

"Fay! You have a call from Silas, and we mistakenly accepted the call."Ashley sheepishly called out from the doorway of my room while Whitney held out the phone out in my direction.Ashley and Whitney could perfectly pass on for twins with how they do things together and let's not forget how identical they look coupled with the fact that they were nearly the same height with Whitney only a little bit taller than her immediate younger sister, Ashley."You mistakenly accepted it?" I asked with narrowed eyes as I collected the phone from Whitney's outstretched grip."I swear Aunty F... I mean Fay, it was a mistake. You know, we were just busy watching BTS on YouTube when the call came through and my finger mistakenly tapped it." Ashley explained as she moved her hands around then she mistakenly hit Whitney on the tight with her wandering hands.Whitney only scowled at her younger sister befo

"At first, I thought it was just a normal attraction, but then somehow I started admitting to myself that it was more than that. Before I knew it, you were always in my head. Be it morning, afternoon, evening and night. Heck, I dream about you once in a while too." I sat up stiffly on the seat of the swing as I drank in all he was softly saying into my ear, his heated breath fanning softly against the sensitive spot behind my ear."Somewhere, somehow, you got into my head and stayed there. I still think it's weird though, this constant edging feeling biting my insides with warmth." He pulled me closer till my whole back was firmly pressed into his chest and his lips pressing into the curve of my ear.

You're back." Mum gushed immediately she sighted me hanging by the door of the kitchen as she made a hand gesture for me to come in instead of standing stiffly by the door."Aunty Fay!
