CHAPTER 2

He walked towards me and still, didn't take his eyes away from me. I couldn't help myself but to stare at his rounded brown eyes .

" Are you trying to escape?"

His deep voice echoed in the room. I feel the authority on how he speak. As if I am his territory.

I couldn't move where I was standing and just bent down my head because I couldn't speak due of the shock and fear.

"I already own you, Anastasia. And from now on, you're going to live here."

His piercing eyes staring at me made my knees weakened. He was just a few inches away from me and I felt the tension coming from him.

" Who are you?"

My voice was shaking, and I felt like any time I was going to fall completely on the floor.

" I'm your mate, Anastasia."

Mate? I don't really understand what he was saying, that he is my mate . And I will live here with him from now on. Why? Is this similar to an arrange marriage?

" I don't understand what your saying?"

I looked at him intently as if we are competing who would blink first. He then, forwarded two steps towards me causing me to retreat backward and leaned my back on the window.

" We we're destined with each other, I'm your Alpha and you are my Luna."

I didn't understand his words even more. His Luna? Me?

" Your Luna? What is that? And how come that we were destined with each other? I'm a human, you're a werewolf . We're not same."

Until now, I still can't process all the words he was saying. Yesterday , I was just a normal girl who was admiring the beauty of full moon but now, I'm already a destined woman to a werewolf.

" You are not a human Ana."

I shaked my head of disbelief. There is no way that I will be werewolf, my parents are humans. So where did that story came from.

" What the fucking hell are you saying?"

He pointed my necklace on my neck. I've been wearing this necklace since I was a child. Way back then, I tried to remove it but I found that there's a keyhole in the pendant and I didn’t know where the key was.

" That necklace of yours taming the wolf inside you."

He hold my necklace and looked at me.

" This necklace is the reason why you're still a human until now."

I don't know if I would believe him. I don't even know what will I believe from him. All the things he said to me still like a complicated book that even how many time I'll read , I would never understand it.

" Louis!"

Suddenly, the door slammed and a man who have the same stature of his rushed towards us. Louis release his hand on my necklace and face that man.

" What is it Stefan?"

Stefan gasped for his breathe while he's sweat was everywhere on his face. He breathe out first before speaking.

" The Clan? The Clan Empire attacking us!"

Louis widened his eyes and shook Stefan on his shoulder.

" What! Whey are they?".

" They are coming ! We need to be ready!"

They suddenly rush outside and close the door infront of me. I don't know what's going on. How come that my life became this complicated?

I heard some commotions outside, noises of people shouting and the growling sounds of the werewolf.

* Bang*

My door in front of me suddenly slammed and fell of on the floor. I was shock when I saw people are running , but then, I realized that they are not human. They run fast and cliched their teeth at the werewolf. The sounds of growling werewolf due of pain engulfed the surroundings. The door open wide, that I almost see what's going on outside. Suddenly, an idea pop up in my mind. This is my chance to escape . I slowly walked in the entrance even if nervously started to filled my stomach. The vicinity was wrecked , blood spattered everywhere and dead bodies lying both side of the hall . I gasped as I saw the situation. Werewolf suddenly passed behind me and someone following to that with red eyes, and a long fang. I clasped my both hand on my mouth when he suddenly bite the werewolf until the blood rushing down from the body.

What is this ? This is not a human?I thought. In the midst of dead body, there is someone standing with a tall shadow-like figure. The skin of this creature was as pale as snow, the lips were as red as blood with his long fang that was exposed, the eyes were fierce with a hint of crimson. This person is a vampire.

My body automatically move and run passing by to the dead body in the hall. My heartbeat were beating fast like I ran millions miles away . I just run without even knowing where I will go. I just need to get out to this house. At the end of the hall, there are big windows, I opened and saw that there were some werewolfs and vampires. Screaming and growling sounds filled the place. I don't know if this is the right thing to do, but this is my only way to escape. I climbed to the window , and calculated how I will jumped without having a broken bones. Luckily , I just feel a little bit pain in my right foot and I don't think I have a fracture because it disappeared immediately. I seized the opportunity to run away while their were occupied in fighting. I speed up to the forest thinking for what creature that I might encounter again. I just run and run until I feel like I will collapsed because of exhaustion. When I was sure that I was really far away, I stopped first to rest. But suddenly, the rain began to fall. I looked around trying to looked for a shelter because the rain was getting stronger. I saw a small house made of wood. I ran there and entered. Old, shattered curtains hanging on the window and dusty floor. All of these were signed of abandoned house. The chair squeaked when I sat on it. My clothes were already wet and my body was trembling. I was stunned when the door suddenly opened in front of me.

" Who are you?"

A man entered wearing a black jacket soaked of water. He's skin was pale but not as pale to the vampire that I saw in Louis house. He walked towards me while looking at me intently. I immediately stood up when he's in front of me. I thought if this person is a vampire, but he has no reddish eyes despite of his pale skin or maybe his like Louis, a werewolf.

" How did you find this place?"

I gulped. A bullet of panic rises in my throat.I could hear the slow, dragging beat of my heart. Suddenly a colds sweat dripping on my face. His gazed started to filled with darkness.

" I said , who are you!!"

I was shocked when he punched the wall behind me.

" Did they send you to watch me?"

I shake my head.

" I'm j-just passing by when the r-rain started to poured. I don't have any hidden agenda."

I closed my eyes and blocked my both hands on my face in case he punch me. After a few seconds of silence, I opened my eyes. I saw him standing quite far away from me and he suddenly took off his jacket and threw at me. I cluelessly stared at him .

" So, you like floral colors ."

He said while smirking at me and and his gaze suddenly went on my chest. When I looked at it, I saw that my underneath was already see through because my white t-shirt already soaked of water. I immediately cover it with my hand and put on the jacket.

" So what are you doing here miss? Don't you know this is a dangerous place for you."

I turned to him. He was just looking at me. He has a pale skin, sharp nose, very thin lips and his body looks like Louis.

I think for a second. I don’t know if he would believe me if I said I was kidnapped by a werewolf. He might even think I'm crazy.

" As I've said , I'm just passing by."

He looked at me with disbelief. I see through his face that he was not convinced to what I've said. I looked away avoiding his gazed on me.

" You know what miss, this place is prohibited to human."

" So, you're not a human?"

I suddenly slipped in my mouth.

" What do you think?"

I froze because of his questions. Aside from his pale skin, he had no red eyes like as vampire has. If I look closely, his face is too soft to be a vampire. So maybe his a werewolf? But why is he living alone in a dilapidated house. Does he have no family?

" I don't know."

I said. He just stay silent after that. There's to many questions in my mind that I can't find the answers. My life was just simple ,then in just one night , I've encountered different creatures .

" I'm a vampire."

My eyes widened . The fear suddenly engulfed my body. I want to run but I feel like that I'm being paralyzed.

" No scratch that. I'm a half-vampire. Half-human and half-vampire."

I only saw this kind of scenes before in movies but now it is in front of me .

" So miss, I will asked you again."

He looked at me and walked closer. I stepped backward until my back was leaning against the wall. I gulped when he was just inches away from me. This feeling was different. I feel like I'm being drown into his eyes. I couldn't move because he was so close.

" Are you really not a spy?"

I could already feel his breath on my face. His face was only inches away from me . I gulped again and try to calm my heart that already throbbing.

" I-told you, I was j-just passing by."

I looked away but the he cupped my chin and face it to him .

" You will be staying here with me."

I was stunned to what he just said.

" Why?" I asked

" To let me know if you are not disciples. You're my bait for them."

I still can't believe this. I did escape from the werewolves but was captured again by a vampire.
