CHAPTER 1

It was nearly midnight, the night sky is so clear that I could almost see every crater. I walked on my balcony , the full moon was gleaming at the surrounding. I remember when I was seven years old my dad always told me a story about the moon. He said that, every time the moon is full, there are creatures that look like a normal person during the day but when the night comes, they turn into a hairy and scary monster. My father also said that during the Lunar eclipse, they completely lose their supernatural abilities and simply returning into their human form. He called that werewolf, a human that turns into a beast at night. I don't know if it's true since it's just an old story of elderly in our small town.

" Anastasia."

I turned back and saw my mother walking towards me.

" Why are you still awake?"

She caressed my hair and puts her one hand on my waist like she's hugging me. I looked at her and smiled.

" Is there something bothering you?"

I returned my eyes to the moon , still my mother was on my side.

" I just remembered the story that my father told me about werewolf. He's always told that to me every full moon."

She stopped caressing my hair and just hugged me instead.

" You miss your dad?"

I gave her a faint smile and returned my eyes again to the glowing moon. The cold breeze embraced my body causing me to shiver.

" You know what mom, I'm still wondering if werewolf truly exist."

I heard a soft chuckled from her. She's not hugging me anymore, she's now beside me facing the beautiful scenery of the moon.

" I didn't know that you took seriously what your father's told you."

My father died when I was seven years old due to an accident. After that, I always have a nightmare about that werewolf creature and I don't know why. Is it because of what my dad always told me before I sleep or werewolf truly exist.

" I don't know , it just that after father died, I always have nightmares every full moon. "

I'm afraid to sleep during the moon is full because of that. I'm just so scared that I will not be able to wake up and the thought of not seeing my mother again makes me feel horrified.

" I want to believe that werewolf is just a mythical creature. I'm afraid that werewolf can exist in this world."

Bewilderment formed in my mind because of what she said .

" Why Mom? Are you saying that you have already seen a werewolf?"

She just shrugged and sighed. As if she was avoiding answering my question. Her eyes were dazed like she was mesmerizing to the moon. I just stay silent , only the sounds of our breathing were the noise in the surrounding. We just stayed like that for a minute.

* AWOOOH!!!!"

We were both surprised when we heard a howling sounds. We looked at each other as if we didn't know how to react. I don't know if it's just an animal in the forest or that's the werewolf that my father always told me.

" Did you hear that mom?" I stepped backward as I said that. My mother just stay where she was. She turned back at me and nodded.

When I looked at the grassy part in front of the balcony , I saw something that was glinting, when I looked at it carefully I saw a pair of eyes looking at us.

I feel horrified. I don't know what creature was the owner of those eyes. I looked at my mother looking shocked at what she had witnessed.

" Mother what is that?"

I managed to ask her even if my voice was shaking because of fear. I wanted to run but my feet suddenly stopped me from doing it.

* Grrrrrrr*

A growling sounds come from where the two eyes are. The thought of what my father said to me about growling sounds of this creature when the moon is full flashback in my mind. Is this what the real werewolf sounds?

* Grrrrrrr *

Another growling sounds from that creature. Slowly, it came out to where it was hiding. A cat-like eye, mix of gray and brown fur, and long nails. The mythical creatures that I've always hear in stories are now in front of me.

" Oh my God!"

I heard a loud gasp from my mom . Her eyes are widened, her both hands are clasping on her mouth. She stepped backward and stumbled on her feet.

Slowly, the werewolf stepping closer to the balcony and suddenly jumped in front of me. Astonishment engulfed me as I meet the two grim eyes. My body froze when he suddenly stepped closer to me and smelled my body. I glanced at my mother on the side.

" Ana! Oh God!"

A soft growl coming from his. The grim eyes replaced by a calm gazed as if he found his home. I slowly put down my hand on his fur and slowly pat him on the head. He snuggled on my shoulder as I continued petting him.

But suddenly, he picked me up with his mouth and jumped on the balcony. I heard my mother scream but he just ran into the woods with me.I struggled from his gripped but he was very strong. He just ran into the forest and I had no idea where he was going to take me.

" Where are you taking me? Let me go!!!"

I don''t know what to do. Why I was taken by this creature?

" Hey? Who are you?"

I didn't know why I was talking to him. I don't even know if this was a real werewolf or just wild animals that had strayed.

" You are my mate, Anastasia."

I was surprised when I heard someone speak. I looked at him. It felt like the sound came from him.

" I've been looking for you and waiting for you for a long time."

My eyes widened when I heard him speak again. Suddenly, my chest tightened. I feel horrified by what he might do to me. And gradually, my vision was getting darker. I even looked at the bright moonlight before finally closing my eyes and lost my consciousness.

I felt the soft pillow and hugged it. I search for my blanket, almost fall on the bed.

" What did you do? Why did you bring that girl here?"

I suddenly heard someone arguing outside. I groaned as my sleep being disturbed by them.

" I've been looking for her for a long time, and she is my mate mom."

A voice of a boy and a woman. I try to figure out whose voice is that because it doesn't sound familiar to me. And what the hell their problem arguing in an early morning.

" Yes, she is your mate. But I don't know where or what family she belongs. I'm just worried to you , to us. What if their pack attack us because you kidnapped her."

I can't understand what they are saying. Whose being kidnapped? What is that mate about? The pack?

" But mom, Anastasia is my mate . It doesn't matter what family she has. She belongs only to me."

I immediately got up when I heard my name. I looked around, the interior designs were different, the cabinet was different, the window was different, and the paint color was different. Everything was unfamiliar to me because it is not my room. I tried to think about what was going on. How I got to this place? Who's that people outside? How did they know my name. But suddenly, my mind remember something. A werewolf appeared in my balcony and kidnapped me . A sudden fear embraced body. The thought that I am in the territory of these werewolfs make me want to run and escape. But how? I looked around, trying to figure out how I will get out of this room. I'm sure that the door is locked. I approached the window and I was glad to see that it was not locked. When I was about to open the that, the door slammed behind me.

" Anastasia? What are you doing?"

A tall man came up to me. His round eyes were staring at me. He has tan skin complimented with her black hair. He has a handsome physique that suddenly made me forget me that the person in front of me is not a human. I couldn't help but admire his jaw-dropping appearance. Is this the human form of werewolf?
