CHAPTER 127: Looking for Anita

"Yes, come in," Liam's voice answers from within. Temisa finally pushes the office door open and walks in, while Liam looks up in surprise, not expecting to see her.

"Hi, good afternoon," Temisa greets as she walks up to his desk, uncomfortably standing across from him.

"Sit," Liam says, and Temisa notices he looks worried, suspecting something fishy is going on between him and Anita.

'Why does he look like this?' she wonders as she sits across from him. Liam gestures for her to explain why she's there.

"Why are you here?" he asks, meeting her gaze. Temisa smiles worriedly.

"It's about Anita," Temisa replies, noticing a glimpse of light in his eyes at the mention of Anita, making her frown.

"How about her?" Liam asks, trying to hide the fact that he's seriously worried about Anita's disappearance.

"Have you heard from her?" he questions Temisa again. Temisa finally breathes out in relief.

"No, not really. I've been trying her number, but it isn't connecting, and I'm worried about her.
