Mayeli stared at the surprised face of Killian. Had he not expected her to come?

She had purposely kept him waiting. He could keep up with that at least.

She loved the way his eyes raked her body in a very sensual way, as though he was seeing her for the first time.

She was wearing a little green, flowing evening gown, with the split coming to rest just above her thighs. On her feet were silver Zara heels and her hands held a matching silver Chanel purse. Her long carefully styled blonde hair fell in waves down to her waist. She had applied only a light make-up and put on a silver necklace with matching dangling silver earrings. In all, she looked stunning as always.

“I…I umm, I didn't think you would come”, Killian managed to say after minutes of staring.
