"I come bearing turkeys!" I exclaim as I step into the kitchen, Noelle is standing on a chair cutting green pepper with a butter knife.

I giggle at the sight, she looks up and gives me a toothy grin. "Where's your dad?" Just like that he comes out of the pantry with a bunch of spices in his hands.

He smiles when he sees me. "You're back," I raise the bag in my hand, "with turkey,"

I place the huge bag on the counter, "turkeys, so what can I help with?" I ask leaning against the marble surface.

He places the spices down and then looks at his daughter who seems so focused on cutting the pepper, I almost laugh when a strand of her ginger hair falls over her face, she blows at it.

Instead of it going back to where it belongs it flops right over her face again, she gets frustrated and instead of the pepper she's focused on getting the hair back in place without touching it.
