Book 3 Chapter 16

After dinner, Jane decided to indulge in a warm bath. Stepping into the bathroom, she shed her clothes and faced the mirror, her eyes drawn to her swollen belly. Despite the challenges she faced, the sight filled her with a sense of anticipation and excitement for the arrival of her child.

Although she occasionally pondered the challenges of raising a child on her own, Jane found ways to reassure herself that she was capable. Now, at a point of no return, her decision brought her a sense of contentment.

Lost in her contemplation, Jane was abruptly jolted by a sudden movement in her belly.

Startled, Jane placed her hands on her abdomen, feeling the gentle kick from within. A rush of emotions flooded her as she realized it was her baby moving.

It was the first time Jane felt her baby move, and she was overwhelmed with happiness as she experienced the sensation.

"My love..." Jane whispered, tears welling in her eyes as she gently placed her hand on her abdomen, feeling her unborn child
