Ember slowly opened her eyes as she tried to adjust to the bright light that was right above her. As soon as she was able to fully adjust to the bright light she was finally able to look at her surroundings. There were no windows, the only light in the room came from the light bulb that was right above her. She tried to move but she couldn't, it seemed like she was paralyzed, aside from that her hands and legs were tied to whatever it is that she was lying on. She could tell that it was not a bed because it was very uncomfortable.

The room was empty, the only things in the room were her and the thing that she was laying on. It was quiet, very quiet. She didn't like it at all. The door was right in front of her but she couldn't move. So she had to wait for someone to enter the door. She wanted to be as calm as she possibly could even though she had no idea where she was and who the person that kidnapped was and what they wanted to do with her.
