Chapter 60

Karen parked her car outside a mansion that was located near the forest right outside of the city. She took her purse and she got out of the car, closing the door. She walked towards the iron gates. To her luck they were open and there seemed to be no one standing guard. She walked in and she closed the gate. She walked towards the glass door and she knocked on it.

After a few seconds the door opened. "Karen, what a pleasant surprise." Royal said, looking at Karen. He was only wearing a blue robe and his hair was dripping with water. He had just come out of the pool and he didn't dry his hair. Karen rolled her eyes at him. "Come on in." He said. He opened the door wide enough for her to enter. He led her to the living room. "Have a seat." He said pointing at the couch. "So, what brings you here? Did you miss me so much that you had to come here instead of giving me a call?" He asked, winking at her.

"Cut the crap. Why did you come back?" She asked.
