"Elias can I ask you something?"Payton asked, looking at Elias as they both got into the limo. Karen went back to her home a little earlier because of some 'business' she needed to attend to.

"Of course you can."He said.

"Do you like Ember?"She asked. Elias looked at her in shock. He was not expecting a question like that, especially coming from his own mother's mouth.

"What do you mean? She's my little brother's fiancé."He said, shaking his head.

"Elias, you are not answering my question. Do you like Ember or do you not like her?"She asked again. She had seen the way Elias looked and talked to Ember. He was flirting with her in an unnoticeable way but Payton being Payton could see through his actions and his words.

"Mother, are you serious? Well to answer your question I do like her…but not like like her I do like her as a sister, now does that answer your question?"He asked. He did not look at his mother when talking which only made her more convinced that he was lying to her.
