Chapter 30

Ember took her suitcase and she walked back upstairs. She didn't know whether she should go to her room or go back to Axle's room now that he was not feeling well. She was angry at him but she was worried about him at the same time. She figured that it was not a hard decision to make so she decided to go back to his room. She walked on the hallway towards his room, but as she was about to put her hand on the door handle Payton slapped her hand away.

"What are you doing here?"She asked.

"I want to unpack my stuff."She said.

"Did you forget where your room is?"She asked.

"I want to sleep in this room again."She said.

"No, this is my son's room not yours. You were given your own room, so go to that room."She said.

"I want to sleep here so that I can look after my husband."She said. Payton rolled her eyes, if it were up to her then she would have kicked Ember out of the mansion, but she knew that she was the only one that could save her son so she couldn't.
