33. Drop the lie, Oliver.

I flinched at him, eyes wide in shock as I stared at his face.

"I'm sorry, what?"

"I didn't want to suggest it either but it's either that or you just file a restraining order against him and I don't think you want to take him to court."

I-It's not like I don't want to! I'm fucking stuck!

"But staying with you…?" I tried to imagine it and all I could picture was how I moved into Oliver's penthouse and became a full fledged pretend wife. I don't think I want to do that anymore.

"What will the press say when they find out? You'll get dragged with me into a scandal."

He arched his brow in a doubting way, "You seem to care a lot about what people have to say about you, no offence but it's your life we're talking about here. Shouldn't that be more important than comments? Whatever you decide, let me know." he started to walk past me. "Pack a few things either way. Lock the door. I'll be right back."
