"Send this to the HR and tell the manager to be in my office in the next twenty minutes. When is the launch date again?"

"Next week, sir," Victor picked up the pile of documents I had already checked out. "I'll inform the manager on my way out."

Good. I glanced at my watch on my rolled up sleeves. Damn! It was just a few minutes past nine. When did I get here again? I still had about nine hours to go. Why did it feel like I've been stuck here all day?

I reached for my morning coffee to rejuvenate myself and brought it to my lips, tipping my head back in a quest to taste-

"You finished that a while ago, sir." he calmly announced to my surprise and I checked the cup and realised he was right.

"Oh," I put it down and set it aside, feeling a tad foolish. "When did that get finished?" I mumbled, having no memories of it. Did it leak out somewhere?
