A month passed and the relationship between Aspen and Ace was not all that great. She was yet to introduce him to the kids officially even though they noticed that they were now close. She did not know how to tell them and she was uncertain about how they would take it.

Ace has been bugging her to tell the kids and see how they would react. But she has been hesitating. It was as if she was going to lie to herself.

Sometimes she wondered how Ace has not decided to break up with her.

She got down from the cab and made her to her apartment where the kids were already running around, playing.

A ghost smile curled at the edge of her lips as she pushed the door open and went in. They stopped at once as they saw their mother. They ran towards her and she planted kisses on their cheeks. As she stared at them, her heart swelled with joy.

After some time, she rose to her feet and retired to her room.
