S E V E N T Y - F O U R

Harriet walked into the station, her eyes glancing around the place. The phone in her hands vibrated and her heart skipped a beat. She paused and gulped softly. She calmed her nerves and decided not to pick the call. She did not want any distraction at all, what she wanted to do has been haunting her dreams and she needed to get it out.

She turned off her phone and walked further. She met with the officer and talked to him. They allowed her to meet him. She placed her phone on the table and waited anxiously for him while playing with her fingers and her heart increased its beating rates.

The officer pushed Benny out like he was a piece of empty sack. Benny did not struggled against him like he would have done. He seemed to have accepted his fate that he would not be getting out of there anytime sooner.

His eyed dropped to the lady that sat in the visiting room. He lingered in his tracks and turned to go back but the officer stopped him.

“Go.” He ordered him with her a dark glare.
