Three days later and Harriet was yet to be sent back. No word of any form. No call for ransome to be paid. Nothing.

Aspen sat and watched the void of the house. Her kids had gone to school and she had called Floyd that she could not make it work. Fortunately, he said he understood but she will work extra hours once she was back.

She did not even think about it and she accepted. Three days has passed and she has not made a visit to her brother and she has not gotten a call from anyone concerning the lost bride.

Aspen was quite frustrated. She tried to reach Benny’s foster parents but they did not pick it. In fact, there was the time when it went successfully. They had told her that Benny was not worth helping and even if he was, they have disowned him already.

The file of disownment was laid in front of her on the table. Everything have taken an horrible turn. So horrible she did not think of it.

She sighed and stared at her phone. No one stills called her.

She should visit Benny. That
