The Broke Student I Sponsored Sold My Island
The Broke Student I Sponsored Sold My Island
Author: Heisen Steele

Chapter 1

"It's just an island. So what if it was sold? Why make things so difficult for Xena?"

I opened my eyes in shock. My brother was shielding the financially disadvantaged student, Xena Zimmer, behind him as he angrily scolded me.

I looked around in disbelief and finally realized that I had been reborn!

Seeing that I was not reacting, Xena immediately started speaking in a tearful voice, "Luna, I sold your island, but I did it all for your own good."

Just as Xena began to sob, preparing to smear my reputation like she did in my past life, I quickly sidestepped my brother, Orion Smith, and delivered two harsh slaps to her face.

"You're just a broke student. You sold my two-billion-dollar island, yet you have the nerve to say it was for my own good.

"If that's the case, today I'll do something for your own good and show you the consequences of stealing."

Xena was stunned by my slap, her prepared lines left unsaid as her cheeks swelled up.

Orion, seeing this, angrily shoved me to the ground and yelled, "I can't believe you're so petty, hitting a classmate over something so trivial!"

I looked at Orion's bulging veins and coldly sneered, "If you think so little of my island, then why don't you buy it back from Xena for me?"

Orion stared at me in disbelief. "Your island is worth over two billion. Where am I supposed to get that kind of money?"

I glanced coldly at Xena, who was cowering behind Orion. "If you can't afford it, then stop sticking up for her. Xena, tell me honestly, where's the money from selling the island?"

Xena shrank back, tears welling up in her eyes, but she still spoke with a self-righteous tone, "That island wasn't just yours. Why should I give you the money?"

Infuriated by her shamelessness, I raised my hand and slapped her again. "If it’s not mine, then does it belong to you, you thief?"

Orion, now panicking, stepped forward as if to hit me. However, Xena had calmed down and pulled him back.

"Orion, since things have come to this, I might as well tell you the truth!

"Every time Luna went to the island, she brought along more than ten athletes and did filthy, disgusting things there!

"I may just be a broke scholarship student sponsored by you, but I’m always grateful. I couldn't stand by and watch Luna keep making mistakes. Therefore, I had no choice but to take drastic action and destroy her place for messing around!

"Luna must be furious because she can't do those things anymore. But it's okay, I can forgive her!"

Xena made sure to turn on the microphone on the podium before she spoke, ensuring that every student heard her clearly.

Instantly, everyone's gaze turned toward me.

"Luna seemed so innocent, but who knew she was so depraved."

"Xena is so kind-hearted, willing to do the wrong thing just to set Luna back on the right path."

"Even though Xena is a financially disadvantaged student, she's beautiful and generous. She's always been much nicer to us than that spoiled rich girl Luna!"

Hearing the countless filthy accusations, I was so angry that I felt dizzy. I immediately grabbed my phone and called the police.

Just then, the dean suddenly rushed over and snatched the phone from me. "You've already done something so disgraceful, and you still want to involve the school by calling the police?"

I stared in shock at the dean, who was usually known for being fair and just. "Xena is slandering me with outright lies, and you haven't even investigated! What right do you have to stop me from calling the police?"
