CHAPTER 21

Samantha watched the waters as waves started to form, rolling smoothly towards the shoreline. She wrapped her arms around her knees and rested her chin, just enjoying the sound of the water, feeling the wind on her face and waiting for the sun to set a few hours from now.

It has been several weeks since she came back to the beach house to get over the overwhelming resentment she went through. When she arrived, for the first few days, she just stayed coped up in her room, just sleeping and barely ate anything.

When she wakes up, she would cry silently and would do the same thing before sleeping. She closed all the curtains in her room, retained just the light beside her table, wanting to removed herself from the universe. She wanted to be in an abyss, where she could just forget everything.
