Damian watched quietly as Samantha spoke with the waiter politely as she asked about the contents of the food she’s about to order. Damian glanced at Sam as his driver continued down the highway after they had lunch at an Italian restaurant. He noted that she looked bothered about something. Sam applied some lotion to her skin and patted it gently on her skin that late Saturday afternoon before walking towards the dress that Damian had specifically bought for her to wear this evening.She stared at the handmade draped periwinkle blue chiffon sheer mesh dress with an asymmetrical over the shoulder backless halter with a mesh bodysuit. The waistline has a diagonal drape as well with a partial A line floor length skirt with a short train. By sight, she immediately knew that the dress is custom made and the price is within his means.She also suspected that Damian purposedly had this type of dressmade for her, that is quite daring just to spite her for still not selling her shares. Damian watched from afar as Samantha conversed with Terry and Senator Whitehall, which he added to the guests lists as the party continued in the evening. He watched the way her eyes would smile at something but despised her closeness to the senator.Just before the first group of guests had arrived, he was waiting at the living room for Samantha to finally come down. He walked back and forth, calming himself as he recalled what transpired inside her room. It was one in the morning when Sam finally went up the stairs and walked towards the room given to her upon arrival after Damian had a helicopter fetched her from Darren’s cancer foundation activity.She entered the room and immediately took off her heels, massaging her feet and grateful to finally have them off. She went to her dresser and took off her earrings, bracelet and her two rings, placing them securely in her small jewelry box.She carefully unbuttoned her dress and stepped out from it. After hanging it, she then went to the bath for a quick hot shower. She lightly rubbed a soft cloth over her face, removing her makeup and then over her body, finally feeling refresh before turning off the water and started to dry herself.Sam knotted her robe and pick up a comb, running it through her hair as she walks back to her room to put on her undies. Sam opened her eyes when there was a knock on her bedroom door later that same day in the morning. She didn't move for a while, debating whether to answer the door or not, letting the person on the other side assumed that she's sleeping.“Come in.” She finally said when a second knock came.She sat up when she saw Ara coming in with a concerned look on her face.“Hannah called and told me that your look down when you arrived this morning,” Ara explained softly. She sat on the side of the bed and reached for her hand. “She said you look distraught and your eyes were red.
