CHAPTER 10

Samantha stared at herself in the mirror inside the bathroom after she got out of the shower and put on her robe the following day. Dark circles are slightly visible under her eyes. Her hand lightly touched her mouth where Damian McLaren had kissed her.

It was rough and hard.

She couldn’t get it out of her mind.

“Let go of me!” She finally said loudly, pulling away from his arms fiercely and pushed him away. She adjusted her bearings and gave him a haughty look. “Don’t come near me again, Mr. McLaren or I will sue you for harassment!”

To her anger, he only chuckled at her threat.

“I can make that go away before a judge can sign, Samantha,” he answered back as he gave her a thorough look. “You know that I can.”

Sam gripped her fists angrily at his reaction.

“Well, good for you!” She scoffed and then started to walk past him.

Damian made a grab for her but Sam is one step ahead of him. His hand only felt air because she took two steps to the side and continued walking towards the exit.
