Nicholas was back on the road, heading for his best friend’s place. He had messaged Cameron that he needed his help, and the latter had suggested he come to his place, hence why Nicholas was on his way there.

But he had made sure to pack some takeout. When Lucia learned that he was going out, she packaged the leftovers and some other dishes in the fridge and gave them to him. And Nicholas would be a fool not to collect it.

He packed his car in the garage because it doesn’t look like he will be leaving anytime soon. Nicholas opened the main door, and he was face-to-face with the housekeeper.

She was about to bow her head low in greeting, and Nicholas had to wave her off to prevent her from doing so. "There is no need for all that, Nancy." He always feels weird whenever an elderly person old enough to be his parent bows to him. "Is Cameron at home?"
