Kyra.
I couldn't for the life of me believe that anyone could be as strong as Sin, or have as much stamina as he. He gave me a weekend worth reminiscing over and over. That first night I couldn't tell how many times we went at it, the next day was spent in bed, if we weren't sharing impersonal stories then we were at it. Today before I left the tunes had changed and everything became aggressive in a good way. It was like we couldn't get enough of each other. So many times it was at the brink of my tongue to tell him the actual name I go by and not just my second name. But remembering my past thickens my resolve to not make anything more from our time spent together. Once a weekend fling, always a weekend fling and there's no going back because as far as I am concerned last week Friday was the first and last time I was going to that club. Its chapter has been closed. The first thing I did after his driver dropped me off at a random building I claimed was my apartment, I hit a cab, got home and dove into my bed without checking up on my friends. I need a few hours of sleep more than I need their noise over my head.I felt sore all over and his scent clung to my body like a second skin I wasn't eager to wash off. A few times I caught myself thinking random thoughts about him, how his torso looks bare, his biceps,Damnit! The shade of his hair when streaks of sunshine wafted over his head, so black and shiny I couldn't help myself from sinking my fingers deep into it and getting nearly pleasure-killed by the texture. Then we went another round.I groaned out loud and pulled my lazy ass out of the bed, threw on a baggy shirt that covered a good portion of my thighs and set off to the kitchen for a glass of juice. It was dark already and I'd done nothing but think about my weekend with Sin after getting back. A glance at my laptop reminded me of Nicholas's birthday party which I'm still yet to come up with a plan for."Tomorrow." I muttered the promise to myself letting my fingers brush lightly over the top of the computer as my eyes glazed.I was thinking about him again."Get those silver eyes our of your head Kyra, you're not a simpy miss in need of a man, you're a grown ass woman with a job."If someone were to see me right now they'd think I escaped from an asylum or worse if Sin could see this version of the woman he apparently couldn't get enough of this weekend he'll flip over and maybe demand that I return his..Wait, what the fuck am I thinking of? Maybe too much sex got me deranged. I need more sleep. The next time I woke up the sun was already bright and there was someone in my room. Knowing only two people have access to my condo I groaned out loud wondering what was coming my way this early morning."Good morning sleeping beauty. How was your night? Or better yet, how was your weekend." Bipasha had a devilish look in her eyes as she said this."You ditched us." Lily pouted. This from the same bitches who wanted me to get laid."For the record, you ditched me first and I thought it was all about getting laid not having fun and returning home mom, dad, where did I get it wrong?" I sassed."Okay, we're elated that you got some babygirl now we want to know how good it was to have you spending the whole weekend?" Lily asked with a glint in her eye too."It was good, lips sealed." I mimicked a lip sealing gesture and threw the imaginary key out of the window."Look Kyra, we're not trying to be nosy.." this from Lily."Well, we actually are being nosy Lils, Kyra we are ravenous for details. Absolutely ravenous! Who was it? Tell me his name and we'll definitely search it up. Lily, Kyra has that glow on her face. Bitch you got super lucky didn't you?" She clapped her hands gleefully like a schoolgirl I didn't fight the urge to roll my eyes. I rolled em twice."We didn't bother with names actually, we mutually agreed to be strangers for the whole weekend." I shrugged.Lily gaped "Whose name did you moan when you were writhing in ecstasy then? Couldn't have been none.""You're so smart my friend." This from Bipasha."Well, he introduced himself as Sin, nothing more, nothing less and I went by April."Both girls blinked at me."What?" I groaned."What if he's like interested in you? Or wants a repeat or wants to get to know you better, date you, you know?" Lily asked, running her hands through her perfectly straight blonde hair."No, no and no. I'll pass, neither am I interested in a relationship nor am I seeking for a repeat. Besides he started the anonymity thing first." I got down the bed and headed to the bathroom knowing those two gossip mongers will follow me wherever I go.True to my words, they didn't disappoint but let me have the privacy of shutting the door while they hanged directly behind it."Wasn't he handsome?""Too handsome in a manly way actually." I stared in the mirror and thought of the sharp angles of his face. Damn his jaw could cut a rock. His eyes, those silvery fucking eyes."You're thinking about him just now aren't you?" Lily, the smartass quipped."What makes you think I remember exactly how he looks like? You guys are invading on my privacy. Shoo." I yelled, took a hold of my toothbrush and set out on a mission to get these beauties freshened up."Does he look like he belongs in the corporate world or maybe an athlete or is he round in the middle?" Bipasha asked.I stopped, "What makes you think I'll lay with anyone having a jutting stomach and give him the chance to spent a whole weekend with me. Get real bro." I spat into the sink lowering my shirt a bit.On my chest were several love bites from yours truly's lips.Right now I could feel his breath over my chest as I recalled the exact words he used before gifting me with those babies."I'm giving you something to remember me by, even if they won't be there for long, for the entirety that they are I want you to recall everything about tonight."The bathroom suddenly felt hot.Once I was done with my business, including a shower I took to get those girls off my neck I shrugged into a baggy tshirt and shorts, took out in search for them and found them helping themselves to my homemade cookies and milk."So now that you're done harassing me about my weekend why don't you tell me about yours?" I asked both of them at the same time and Lily had the gall to blush, it spread from her chest to her face."Bipasha here has a story to tell, she goes first." The bully that is Lily waved a hand at Bipasha as she took a huge bite of the cookie she was holding unto in an unladylike manner. If only the people who are casually acquainted with her could see her at this moment."Well, I got some obviously and he got moves, crazy ass moves I still feel a bit sore." When she got really into details I rolled my eyes.Leave it up to Bipasha to tell stories that'll make you blush while all she gets is the devilish glint she currently has in her eyes."In summary, I got me a surgeon who in no way resembles a Doctor. With all those biceps and an eight pack abs you could hit and come up with a broken wrist he could pass as a gym rat. He probably is that though." She sighed dreamily."So you're seeing him again?" I asked, getting comfortable on the high chair between the two of them."No. We mutually agreed on one night and he had all this pent up frustration he wanted to release, stress from work and all that and I wanted it all too so we're good." She stared hard at her milk, avoiding both our eyes which in itself means something.I won't push and obviously neither will Lily because we both turned our attentions to the said woman."How did you went from knowing patrons to being the goody two shoes?" I asked."Well, I had fun but not your level of fun, I actually passed out before anything could happen and found myself in one of the rooms belonging to the bar owner. I have no idea who took me there, how I got there and when I awoke I found myself clad in my romper with nothing out of place except for the ribbon I used to hold my hair in place, even my phone was left on the side table. There was a woman, probably a maid who let me know the owner of the penthouse suite left instructions for when I awoke to have me taken cared of until I left. That's it."I felt my jaw hit the floor."Don't tell me you didn't get his name. You're sure you weren't drugged and taped or something right?""Calm down Kyra, nothing happened between us and I won't tell you I didn't get him name because I was too shocked and embarrassed to ask. It was weird enough that I woke up in a strange place with no memories of how I got there, asking the maid for a name would have made me look so stupid so I fled before whoever he was returned and found the damsel in distress he rescued looking like a deer caught in headlights. Nevertheless I'm overjoyed that ya'll got some."We high fived it and let the conversation drift to familiar waters.Kyra. The week of Nicholas’s birthday could be rated at the top of the most hectic days of my life. Coming up with a plan and visualizing the whole event wasn’t hard per se, the real work was the implementation. Lily was busy with two weddings and Bipasha was out of town and I have no assistant. This I put at the very top of my to-get list. I need an assistant and I need one fast. Anastasia was ecstatic about what I was able to come up with and Nicholas? Well that boy fell in love with me when he saw the ranch themed party with kids cars available. Apparently Ana has a sibling who sent down his love for horses on Nicholas and so we got the ponies we used from his ranch. Thank God for rich people. After the birthday party I took a two-day break from the whole world. Today being the fourth day after the party I had lunch with a woman who wanted to surprise her husband on their fifteenth anniversary. Ya hear that? They’ve been together since high school. I kept my thoughts to myself b
Kyra’s P O V. Bipasha’s friend, who was also my date for the gala, Logan Miles, came to pick me up looking good in a black suit, his warm smile made me for a second wish I hadn’t met Sin, maybe I would’ve tried giving him a go at dating me. The keyword being tried. I got into his white BMW feeling nervous for God knows what reason. “You’re alright?” He asked, looking concerned when I stared at my fingers for too long. I released a deep breath I had no idea I was holding, “I’m alright. Thanks, sorry I zoned out. I don’t make a habit of that, I’m just feeling nervous about the gala.” He doesn’t need to know I’d very much prefer to be in the presence of kids all day than spend the night making small talk and being in the company of adults. It gulps my energy down always. “Hey,” he turned to me, yet to start the car and took my hand in his, I let him. When I didn’t flinch or withdraw mine from his he squeezed my fingers in reassurance, “everything’s going to be okay.” A dimple dipped
SINI twirled the stem of my glass once, tossed the contents down my throat in one gulp and dropped it at the nearest waiter’s serving tray. My sole intent was to be introduced to the woman who flipped my world upside down. I evaded anyone who looked like they wanted to approach me by steering clear of their way. With soundless steps I approached the couple and my sister who were obviously having a casual chat from behind. That dress. The champagne gold dress with all its charm was flashing through my eyes and making it hard for me to fight the scowl that was beginning to surface at the sight of the arm that was curved around her lower back as though it belonged there. My gaze lingered for a moment before I cleared my throat and let my presence be known. Ana’s eyes lit up and with a broad grin she hooked her hand in my elbow, urged the couple before her to turn around and when they did the expression on April’s face was priceless. Kyra. After Sin, or the Nicholai Ivanov left I tried to calm my racing heart, it was beating erratically. It was obvious that he was a man to be reckoned with when we met but I had no idea I would find myself in his lair after the length I went to, to see that our weekend fling stayed as what it was, as a weekend thing. There was a predatory gleam in his eyes that made me believe it wasn’t the last I was seeing of him tonight. Maybe that was why I felt his eyes on me even after he left. But, I didn’t let that stop me from enjoying myself. Logan left me a few minutes ago to catch up with my friends after he introduced me to his. Right now Bipasha and Lily were telling me about what made them late bla bla bla. “Don’t look behind you but Logan can’t keep his eyes off you, don’t mess this up this time, please.” Bipasha pleaded looking pleased at herself for being the one who linked us up. If only you knew how messed up it could get. “You can look now,” Lily advised with a chuckle, s

Kyra went through her plans for the day, they were worth nothing in an average workaholic’s schedule but to her everything was perfect just the way she liked it. In fact, she felt enlivened as though she had the day literally off for herself. She could take a trip to the theater and watch the movie she's been aching to see ever since it was released, or better yet, she could take herself out and spoil herself at the restaurant that was opened just recently in Upper West Side, Manhattan. It seemed to be the talk of the town and as an event planner she deemed it necessary to exploit all recreational areas not just for the fun of it but for the sake of her job and meeting up to people's standards. At least that was what she dubbed it as. Go to the movies, alone.Or the restaurant, alone.Drive home, alone.Go to bed, alone. Her life sucked and it was that pathetic.
