Chapter Twenty-Six

After Eve and her girls left the restaurant, they departed to their various destinations after congratulating each other for a job well done. That night, Eve updated the rest of the women in the group about her little drama with the others in the restaurant. She also informed Olivia and Jen about the mischief. Olivia still didn’t approve of the move while Jen on the other hand was filled with excitement.

Before going to bed that night, Eve had scheduled a meeting with the women for Sunday which was in two days. Being a weekend, she was certain that more women will turn up for the meeting scheduled for Sunday evening at her apartment.

To show their support, Olivia and Jen arrived at Eve’s apartment around 5 pm to help her set things in order. The meeting was slated for 6 pm. Olivia and Jen helped Eve in fixing some snacks and beverages for the women they were expecting and before the scheduled time, three women arrived. Eve welcomed them warmly and introduced Jen and Olivia to them.
