Chapter Fifty-Nine

Henry saw the water bottle flying toward him and he ducked immediately. The bottle missed his head and hit the wall before landing on the floor.

"What a way to wake up Eve," he commented with his left hand on his chest, breathing heavily.

"You're lucky that I missed my target," Eve replied and folded her arms across her chest. Dane couldn't stop chuckling.

"So you intentionally wanted to hit me?" Henry demanded and moved closer to her. "What is wrong with you?" he growled.

"Well, you nearly sent her to the cemetery so you got what you deserve," Dane said with a blink.

Henry sighed. "Why would you do such a thing Eve?" He was still yelling.

Eve glared at him and screamed at his face. "You wanted to kill me."

"No." Henry fired back and shook his head.

"Why did you force me to eat that damn chocolate? As if I knew there was something about it that made me reject it but you went ahead and forced me." Eve continued.
