Chapter Fifty-Eight

"I'm sorry guys. No patient relatives are allowed within here. You guys can sit here." the chubby nurse said and pointed to a bench at the corner.

"What? I have to go in. How am I going to know that she's fine?" Henry countered and tried to force himself into the ward.

Eve was placed on the bed while one of the nurses ran out to get the doctor.

Dane gripped Henry's arm, preventing him from forcing his way into the emergency unit.

"Let them do their job boss," Dane said and pulled Henry away to the corner.

Soon, the doctor came running out of his office. When Dane and Henry saw him, they rushed to meet him.

"What happened?" he demanded.

"She's allergic to nuts and we didn't know about it so she ate two bars of chocolates with nuts in them and then she went blank," Henry reported.

"Did you administer any drug to her before she passed out?" the doctor asked.

"Nothing. We gave her nothing but drove her straight here," replied Dane.
