Chapter Sixty-three

Henry made his way out of the hospital after using his credit card to sort Eve's bills. He shook his head after recollecting his fight with Dane and pulled out his car from the hospital's parking lot. He sighed and sped home.

Back in the private ward, Eve narrated to Olivia and Jen the events that occurred in the past hours. She spared no detail of the heated argument between Henry and Dane. However, she didn't inform them about the near-kissing incident that occurred between Henry and her.

The woman didn't accept her offer of them leaving her to spend the night alone. They stayed with her all through the night till she was discharged the next day. While leaving the hospital for her apartment, Jen suggested that Eve should phone or text Henry, to show her appreciation while Olivia countered the suggestion stating that it was Henry who made Eve eat the chocolates in the first place. Eve didn't tell them whether she will be reaching out to Henry or not.
