Sofia’s POV

After we reached the campsite, everyone kept asking what had happened to me and why Marcus was carrying me all the way there. I told them about what happened, and they were shocked. That’s why, instead of joining him in getting dry wood, he decided to do it alone since we only need a little bit of wood for tonight. I felt bad that I couldn’t join him. I really wanted to accompany him, but he refused.

While Danny and his girlfriend continued fixing our tent, I only sat down while reminiscing what happened a while ago. How is that possible? His eyes were full of concern for me. The way he checked me? Is he really worried about me, or I’m just hallucinating everything?
