“Daddy!” Josett shouted, running toward Tristan who leaned at the door frame watching his kids read from the board. He waited there, watching them proudly. When Josett turned around, she saw her father behind them and a smile crossed her cute and small face before she ran to him.

Tristan squatted to her level as she ran across the room to him. Jason and Jackson turned their heads at the same time. They smiled and walked to Tristan who chuckled at the pride that seeped out of them. They were more composed compared to their sister, walking over gently to their father.

“How’s today, cupcake?” Tristan asked, cupping Josett's cheeks. She looked very much like Madine. She only had Tristan’s green eyes, the rest of her body features, she got it from her mother.

Every time Tristan looked at Josett, she reminded him of Madine and this made him feel bad. Maybe he should not have allowed her to donate blood to Nadine. The doctor told him it was successful and Madine had been discharged.
