My eyes landed on Aurora as I opened it up. Her smile took over her face with a hint of relief.

I looked around the room to see a lot of other relief faces including my two sisters. I could also hear baby sounds so that means I'm not going crazy.

“What happened?” I asked, trying to sit up but Aurora stopped me.

“You need to be on the bed,” she voiced out loudly, letting it sink.

“Let me listen,” I heard Sophie as she sat on the other side of the bed with her and placed her stethoscope on my chest.

“He is doing fine for some who just survived an explosion,” she said. But her voice came out in anger.

“I'm sorry, Sophie,” I held her hands as she tried to get up. “I wanted to tell you so many times but things were moving very fast.”

“I had the right to know immediately,” she said and I nodded.

“Yes, you did. I'm sorry for not telling you,” she bent over and kissed my forehead.

“I'm just glad you are okay,” she said breathing heavily. “We were all worried.”
