MIA'S POV

"PATRICIA!!!?? DID YOU JUST SAY PATRICIA?" Audrey asked, dropping her fork loudly on her plate.

"That was the name Aiden called her. Do you know her?"

"Unfortunately, I do. But that is not my story to tell Mia. Just stay clear from her if you ever bump into her again. She is a snake in human form."

What an adjective to qualify someone; I thought to myself. First it was Aiden who got really affected after seeing her; even though he tried as much as possible to hide it from me.

And now, it is Audrey. I wonder what she did to this family to stir up such a reaction from them. Well, that is definitely not my business.

I was dying to hear more but none chose to speak about it and I didn't bother to ask. I want him to be able to tell me things on his own accord without being under durex.

I looked at Aiden from the corner of my eyes and saw him gripping the fork in his hand tightly. I decided to change the topic to something else.
