Chapter Forty-Eight: Kevon's place

Jesse’s POV

The atmosphere in the car was thick with tension, the two suspects I had in mind can't be arrested. My Dad is against Me . I clenched the steering wheel, my knuckles white from the pressure. Trevor's gaze was fixed ahead, but I could feel his eyes turning towards me every now and then, as if checking my mood.

“I think we should go to Kevon’s place,” Trevor finally said, breaking the silence. His voice was cautious, like he was stepping on glass. “not to arrest him or treat him as a suspect just maybe he might know where Tamara is.”

The mention of Kevon’s name was like a slap to the face, he is my major suspect because Tamara had run after him this afternoon after he caught us but now I can't even have him arrested because Trevor said we needed to take things slowly.
