Zoe laid on the bed, face upwards and eye facing the ceiling. She arrived in her mother’s house two nights ago after Avery had told her the truth knowing that it was the safest and the only place he wouldn’t dare to come into without permission. Her mother had tightened the security at the main entrance while doing all she could so that they would get an audience with Fidel. She wanted to talk to Fidel and ask him questions about the life Francis led while they were together.
