Avery could see the shocked look on Aaron’s face as he told him the truth. He wasn’t surprised because he too had found it so hard to believe that his mother would kill his father and still act normally as if nothing had happened. After the dream where Simon revealed the truth to him, he had woken up to realize that his brain had been unlocked like someone flipped a switch and he was suddenly able to remember everything.
