Chapter 95

Zoe sat alone in her room holding the little ring recorder her father had given to her in her hands. She was still unaware of how to get Aaron to confess to his crimes on the recorder, but she was going to try. Her plans for coming back had been to get his confessions and take them to popular media houses in the country. That way, Avery would no longer be able to protect him because the whole world will call out for his neck.

As she continued to think, her thoughts deviated to her ex-husband; Francis, whom like Avery, had been quite an excellent liar too. At least with Avery, she had suspected little things because of his personalities but Francis had been spotless. He had been the perfect boyfriend and husband afterwards even though they had not been married for long before he died. He had written love poems to her, given her so much attention, showed her some of his novels and manuscripts that it never occurred to her that he had something else going on.
