"Kiss my neck." Zoe said to him as they went into the house, stumbling on tables, walls, even the bags that they had just returned with from their trip.
He gigled like a child, obliging her and kissing not just her neck but her eyes and lips also.
''Kiss my ears." He said to her, going in with his back while she followed suit. They had agreed to tell eachother what they wanted while they made love. It made the pleasures more intense and brought understanding between them.
"Where the hell is the bedroom?" Zoe asked her husband as they continued their journey into their new home. They had not been there before, today was the first day after their return from the honeymoon and Zoe wasn't expecting the house to be that huge. Her mother had sure promised her that she had gotten a moderate one for them.
This was surely not moderate, trust Margery Madrigal to always do the extreme.
Francis got a hold of her gown and dragged it out of her body while she in turn ripped his shirt, sending buttons flying in the hallway.
"You have an amazing hair." He said to her, removing the pins and making the hair fall on her shoulders.
"You've told me that thousand times." She replied as she met every of his touch with urgency.
''Maybe we should just do it here." Francis said and she shook her head, tilting her neck to allow him access to her neck again. She loved it when he kissed her neck, it usually sent shivers down her spine and made her want to scream with joy.
"I'm not going to be having my first sex in the house here. It needs to be memorable." She said and he laughed at her silliness.
This was what she was going to be enjoying for the rest of her life. Loving this man, having amazing sex with the beautiful man who adored her and made her the center of his world.
"Isn't this better than the books you write?" She asked as she fumbled with the belt on his trousers.
"It's much better than the books I write baby." He replied, teasing her breasts. "It's much much better."
He cupped her breast in his hands and she moaned with pleasure. "Yes." She said. "This is exactly what I'm talking about."
"You like that?" Francis asked and she nodded taking his lips in hers while murmuring words to him. "I love it."
Finally, they made it to the bedroom and she pushed him on the bed. With his eyes on hers, she slipped out of her panties, revealing her lush body that he usually wasn't able to handle.
"Gosh." He exclaimed. "You are breathtaking."
"I know." Zoe said, taking slow strides to the bed. She had always been described as a goddess by her peers and knowing she had not just the face but also the body, gave her an edge and upper hand. Guys used to bow at her feet just to have her talk to them.
She straddled Francis, helping to free him out of his jeans and revealing his manhood.
"You're so ready for me." She said and he turned her so that he was the one straddling her this time around.
"And I want to do a lot of things to you, my beautiful wife." Francis replied as he began his quest.
"What are you waiting for?" She asked, gasping when one of his fingers rubbed at her clit before sliding into her opening. "Take me then."
*************
The hushed voices in the distance woke her as she stretched her arms to touch her husband only to realize he wasn't there. Her eyes flew open immediately, yawning from the tiredness of both the sleep and the intense love making.
"Francis?'' Zoe whispered, searching with her eyes around the large room for her husband. Today, they were to start their lives as husband and wife after partying, and making love during their two weeks honeymoon. Today was the day she would officially start her duties as Mrs Martinez. The thought made her blush as she looked at the ring on her fourth finger.
The best days of her life had started when she met Francis, the writer who had swept her off her feet with his kind words and gentle demeanor. The day she had said yes to him at the altar, she had never been sure of anything else. Now they were back to Maples and she was finally off the guidance of her controlling mother and would be living her life as his wife.
"Francis?" She called again but there was still no response.
Standing up and still wondering where her husband had gone instead of being in bed with her, she searched the bathroom before making her way to the living room. That was when she saw them.
There were three men with her husband talking in hushed voices. She couldn't see their faces but Francis sure as hell didn't look comfortable.
She couldn't hear them speak but they were talking alright. On tip toes, she walked closer, hiding behind a barrier and began to hear a little bit of the conversation.
"You thought you were wise, Francis and that is what got you into this whole mess." The voice that spoke seemed like he was the leader of the three, because he sat on the chair while the other two held, both Francis' arms. Confused and not willing to let herself out to them, Zoe covered her mouth with her hand and continued to listen.
"I did nothing wrong." Francis said in his own defense. "You were the one acting too high and mighty."
The first slap landed on his face by one of the men and Zoe gasped into her hands almost throwing the vase that sat in the stand to the ground. What the hell was happening and what had her husband gotten himself involved in? Why would anybody want to harm her very soft hearted and gentle Francis?
"You talk too much for someone whose life is in danger." The leader spoke again. Zoe turned to get a glimpse of them but was only able to see the star tattoo on his neck while he lifted a small gun, pointing it to Francis' head.
"Beg, Francis." He said, but Francis continued to look at him wide eyed and with a bleeding lip.
"Make me." He replied. No Francis, Zoe thought. You really shouldn't be saying that.
The man with the gun gave a sinister laugh and handed it over to one of the guys who collected it dutifully.
"Off with him." He ordered.
They let him fall to the ground first before pointing the gun at him.
Zoe gasped again and made to run into the scene but what followed was a heavy hand around her mouth just as soon as she heard the shot.
The darkness came first as she felt her body being dragged out by an unknown human she couldn't see. The last thing she saw was the star tattoo on the very fair neck as he walked out of the living room before she was knocked out of her breath.
And then, there was silence.
Six months later"I want the table that other way." Zoe said to the movers as they got her things arranged into her new home. It's been six months since she laid her husband to rest and six months since she visited the bubbling Cally city. This was where she was brought up. Not in this new house though, but she was born in the city with its busy life and endearing sceneries. After the worst six months of her life, she needed endearing and she definitely craved for the buzz."The setee will be much better there," The man in charge of the interior of her new house said to her, pointing at different directions in the house. "so that the light doesn't interfere with it and you won't have a problem with the stairs too."Zoe considered him for a moment and nodded her head, seeing things eye to eye with him. They were the experts afterall and just like her mother used to say, she had no eye for interior. Speaking of her mother, Margery Madrigal had called her last night, demanding to have
"My what?" Zoe exclaimed as if she had heard wrong. She had only one husband and he was six feet below the ground. Unless Francis reincarnated into this tall devil with amazing hair, then her mother better started talking."What are you saying?"The man smiled at her but remained quiet."Don't sound too shocked Zoe." Margery said. "He is Avery Trent, very popular. You should know him. Trent Airlines is....""I don't mean that type of explaination mother." Zoe said, interrupting her. "I'm asking what you meant by he is my husband.""Because he is." Margery said to her. "You guys are almost married, we just need your signature." Then she stretched her hands towards Avery who gave her a manilla envelope. "In this document. You see?" Margery brought out the marriage certificates and handed it over to her and Zoe couldn't believe her eyes."What are you doing, mum?""Oh, Margery you haven't told her yet?" The man asked, shaking his head. "That's such a shame.""So sorry Avery." Margery apo
They stood there, surprised and Zoe wondered why Avery had decided to kiss her. He said they were going to be having dinner with his mother and siblings, why the hell were there more than three people in the room? The woman who Zoe registered to be Avery's mother walked over with arms wide open. She hugged Avery not paying attention to her."Happy birthday, darling." She said and Zoe turned to look at him.Birthday? Really? And when they had been busy getting to know eachother, he didn't think to tell her today was his birthday?"Thanks mum, You didn't have to do all this. I said I wanted just a small dinner." He complained."Of course we are having a small dinner. They were just paid to pop the balloons." Felicity replied, turning to her other son. "Aaron, off with all of them."In less than a minute, the room was cleared much to Zoe's surprise and his sister, a beautiful girl in her teens walked right to her."Another one?" She asked, eyeing Zoe. "What do you mean by another one? C
There was no answer from Mia and Zoe knew there wasn’t going to be any anytime soon. She turned her head back to the stage to witness Aaron pull his brother from the stage and have the security guards take him to a secret room.Aaron cleared his throat, smiling at the audience with an attempt to manage the situation.“Today is a very special day for Avery and the whole family, so he might just be a little bit on edge.” He began. “Let’s allow him to calm down and he’ll be back on stage in no time. Thank you.”And that was it. That was all he had to say to have the crowd relaxed and murmuring among themselves.Zoe shook her head. He might have been able to get through the guests but she wasn’t buying the rubbish. Especially because Mia and Felicity stood to go into the room where Avery had been taken to. Zoe followed them, wanting to find out just what the hell was wrong with the husband she just signed a document with few hours ago.At the entrance of the door, the guards gave her roo
She had a lot of questions to ask him, a lot of things needed to be explained to her. For starters why the hell was he acting like three different people? And what was the main reason he had agreed to marry her when he owed her mother no favor? Seeing what had transpired at the party made her doubt the real reason for their marriage. But those questions could wait. He was staring at her with a whole new type of look that she could not read.“Of course, I’m going to take off my clothes.” She said to him. “But the question is, will I be doing that in front of you?”Avery shook his head at her and walked over to dry his hair.“What are you? sixteen years old?” He asked her, staring at her from the large mirror in the ridiculously large room. She understood the need for space. God, she loved space but what the hell would they use this whole space for? When she didn't make a move, he pointed at a door. “Bathroom.” He said and pointed at the second. “Dresser and closet. Pick your choice if
Avery stared at her, angry at the question. It was bad enough that he was struggling to deal with how delicious she smelt and now, she was asking him this? How in the world was he supposed to explain something like last night to her? She would think he was crazy and he needed her not to have such thoughts towards him, even though he had only married her to clear his conscience. He tried his best to soften his features, regretting showing anger towards her. It would only make her think she affected him.Because she didn’t.Avery picked up his fork again and placed a slice of bacon in his mouth, very sure she was surprised at how quickly he changed.“Yesterday night was none of your business.” He replied finally. “Eat. You do have a long morning ahead of you.”Zoe shook her head and began to eat her food, letting go of the subject. Her mouth moved seductively as she gave a nod of approval to the taste of the meal. Her mother had not failed to remind him that she loved to eat, so he had
Avery looked at Jacob, angry that he could give him such a morning surprise but Jacob only shrugged his shoulders.“Not my fault.” He replied. “She insisted.” And then, he walked out of the room, leaving Avery to deal with the girlfriend he had lied to his family he broke up with, just to prepare himself for the agreement with Margery.“Well, look who it is”. Jasmine said, walking over to him. To his surprise, she slid her hand behind his head and gave him a sultry kiss on the lips, one that lingered for a moment and one he definitely enjoyed.“I saw you went out with someone new last night.” She said, using her hand to clean off her lipstick from his lips before touching his hair. “Why didn’t you tell me you needed a date for the party last night? I would have flown back to the city for it.”Avery moved away from her hold and sat behind his desk, crossing his legs while wondering just how to tell her he was a married man now.“I didn’t want to bother you.” He replied.“I was surprise
“What do you mean by wedding?” Margery asked her daughter, turning to look at Avery immediately. Avery on the other hand quickly gestured with a nod of his head to Jacob and the latter escorted the other men out of the office.“Is this what you do?” Zoe continued, clearly angry to the bones, making Avery wonder just what the hell to say to get her to calm down.“Calm down, Zoe.”“Was this how you agreed to sell me off? In this room? Like I was a piece of property?” She asked her mother.“What the hell are you talking about, Zoe?” Margery asked.“You promised me that there would be no wedding.” She screamed at the top of her lungs at her mother. “You said sign the fucking papers and get married. I told you that I wasn’t in the right state to exchange vows with anybody or walk down the aisle, but you never listen, mother.”Okay, it was indeed time for him to intervene, unless the fiery slim woman would be pulling at her mother’s hair.“Calm down, Zoe.” Avery said, moving closer to stand
