Natalia's POV

The tables had turned, and now the villain was kneeling with her husband, begging to be pardoned. The crowd was still trying to digest the new information they had acquired.

I myself couldn't believe the man had such an influence on another businessman.

"He's so charming," Ligia gasped. "If I weren't engaged to Luis, I would have found a way to seduce him," she added, licking her lips with a mischievous grin.

She must have seen the incredulous look on my face, which made her chuckle.

"Oh, for Pete's sake, relax! I'm just kidding. My life is so precious to me; I can't afford to lose it at this very young stage," She joked nervously.

Her words held a deeper meaning. It meant that man was more dangerous than Gabriel could ever be. I shifted my gaze back to the scene.

"No, please, take the dress," Mrs. Garcia pleaded. "I will pay for everything you've purchased. Please..."

"Are you dumb?" Mr. Garcia barked. "Do they look like they want your money?"
