Chapter 80

Joyce's POV

"Oh boy!" I exclaimed, yawning lazily.

The weekend flew by surprisingly fast, and reality set in as work resumed. I forced myself out of bed and walked out of the room.

I headed for Rafael's and pushed the door open. The little angel was still asleep.

"Raph, darling," I whispered softly, walking towards his bed. "Wake up, little bunny!"

I was sure he heard me because he turned to face the other side of the bed while covering his ears.

"Rafael," I called again, this time with a high-pitched voice and a soft chuckle.

"Leave me alone," I heard him say. He pulled the blanket over his face.

"Don't do that," I scolded, pulling the blanket off his face.

He pouted, clearly upset. "I want to shleep some more. Please, let me ."

"No, darling." I shook my head in disapproval. "We need to leave for work. You don't want Mommy to be late to work on Monday morning, do you?"

"No." He shook his head vehemently and smiled. His face suddenly lit up as he adjusted the blanket and sat up. "Do
