TRIGGERING CONTENT: CHILD ABUSE

I was looking between Myles and the police men, confused.

"He did not commit any murder, and he is not going anywhere with you." I stated defiantly, pushing Myles back into the house.

"Please step aside, Miss." The policeman in front said, but I shook my head.

"No. You all should get the fuck out of here." I could not just bear the thought of him getting arrested. I had no idea if he was guilty or not, but I didn't want to think about it. I just wanted them to leave him alone.

"Who is this person you are talking about?" Myles asked again, but one of the men was already walking to him with a handcuff.

I felt so confused and helpless. I didn't know the moment I reached the man wanting to handcuff him, and slapped the metal out of his hand, while I pushed Myles behind me.

Maybe it was an ironic scene, as I was smaller than him.
