Five years later

Chloe's POV

I rolled over by habit, wanting to wrap my hands around Ethan, but I ended up hugging a tiny person instead. As if that was not frustrating enough, another weight jumped on me, and I opened my eyes.

"Hi, mommy!" My four year old son, Aiden grinned at me, sounding so excited.

"We wanted to wake you up, but Daddy and Ari said not to." His twin sister, Audrey, murmured, as if she was still trying not to wake me, but she was literally jumping on me.

"But I know you want to wake up right? It's Christmas, and we have a lot to do."

"It's not Christmas yet. Tomorrow is Christmas." I whined.

"But it's Christmas Eve." Audrey said, as she bounced on me.

I grabbed a pillow and covered my face. I would convince Ethan about having them go stay with their grandparents for a while after now.
