Chapter 95- Open the door

Bonnie's POV

I walked to the kitchen to see Jeremy pouring coffee into two mugs, one which I was sure was for me. He acted like he didn't know that I was there, until he was done. He then gave me my mug.

"Here you go, princess. I figured you would need it before you bury yourself with work today."

I rolled my eyes playfully, before taking the mug from him.

And he was right. I was going to bury myself with work. I guess this was my way of coping with frustration.

It had been a week since the court case ended, and I had not seen or heard from Myles. I didn't call or reach out at all because I figured that he would need some time after all that. He got to learn a little about his mother, he thought he found out who his father was, only for it to be false, and then he was sued for murder, and had to reopen an incident in his past that had scarred his life. For someone who loved his personal space, I was not surprised that he chose to shut everyone out.
