Chapter 63- I want to know you

Bonnie's POV

As usual, Myles was calm beside me. He still had his usual calculating look in his eyes, as he studied me from time to time.

"I didn't know you would come."

A low chuckle. "You had invited me, Damsel."

I bit half of my lower lip gently. "I know, but... You don't seem like that kind of person."

Now he raised an amused brow. "What made you think that?"

I merely shrugged. "You seem... I don't know how to put it. But this sought of things does not suit you."

I looked at him, and swallowed when those brown eyes staring back at me demanded an explanation. "You are mysterious. I know that you told me that you have a farm, and you like simple things like gaming, but... You seem like a dangerous person."

"Dangerous..." He drawled. "Interesting."

Now a smile danced on his lips, as if he was finding what I was saying amusing.

"Do you find me scary then?"

I shook my head. "No. Not at all. You are... Safe."

"Dangerous, safe. You seem to be contradicting yourself, damsel."
