Chapter 70- New job

Chloe's POV

I was tossing and turning in bed, wanting to call Ethan, but I was waiting for him to arrive there first. He would arrive in France at approximately eight hours, and this was the longest eight hours of my life.

Since I left the airport, I had been restless. I could not tell why, but I was worried about Ethan. After the eight hours, I had to hold myself back from calling him right away. I knew that he would need some time to settle in. But then his call came in, and I was hurried to take it. He just told me that he had gotten to France, but had not checked into the hotel he would be staying.

My heart relaxed when I heard his voice again. Maybe I was just being paranoid. This was the first time he was travelling out of the country since I got to know him. And maybe I was just missing him so much.

When he checked into the hotel, he called me again, on video call this time.

"Hey Mama."

He was lying on the bed without shirt, and his hair was tousled and looking a little moist,
