My brows furrowed in confusion as I stared at Rosalie. I believed we were having a moment - a meaningful moment where I hoped she could see how sincere I was but I was wrong. Her reaction to my words wasn't what I expected at all.

"What's wrong?" I inquired. "Did I say something wrong?"

"You don't know?" She scoffed in disbelief. "Whatever, I don't care. Just get out."

"No, I'm not leaving until you tell me what I did or said wrong." I protested. "I thought we were having a moment."

"No, you are the only one who thought that." She stated. "I can't believe you think thanking me for being the mother of your children will make me happy. Did you forget what you said to me six years ago?!"

"Six years ago?" Her question perplexed me. "I said so many things. Enlighten me, please."
