Chapter 81: Liar

“You're here again,” Margaux chirped as she smiled at the woman who shared the same name with her.

Liana's secretary smiled back. She seemed so confident as she stepped out of the elevator and halted right in front of her.

“I'm meeting Hendrix. He told me to come here to talk about what happened between us,” she replied casually.

Gone was the anxious and pitiful little girl who begged Hendrix the other day. She became so confident now and she said those words to her as if it was something to brag about.

Margaux chuckled. “Really?” she chirped. She shifted her feet and folded her arms as she looked at her, “But I didn't see him inside his mother's room..” she stated.

The woman seemed taken aback. Her poise was gone for a second but she quickly recovered and lifted her chin.

“I purposely come earlier than what we have agreed upon because I want to spend time with Mrs Mondragon and get to know her"

“Is that so?” She raised her eyebrows. “I won't fiddle around with you then. Excuse me.
